AFD

The AFD (Agence Française de Développement - French Development Agency), a public financial institution that implements the policy outlined by the French government, works to combat poverty and promote sustainable development.

Present on four continents via a network of 75 offices, the AFD funds and supports projects that improve the living conditions of populations, support economic growth and protect the planet.

In 2015, the AFD allocated €8.3 billion to the funding of projects in developing countries and overseas.
