ANDOUNG

Andoung is a tropical tree native to Central Africa. It reaches 45 m high and 2 m in diameter. The wood is pinkish brown, light to medium-heavy, soft to medium-hard. This exotic timber requires a preservative treatment against dry wood borers and humidity. It is used in particular for plywood and parquet flooring.
